I made a quick video to explain the P0299 underboost code that you’ll find on various turbo engines. While there are some application-specific explanations, the principles will hopefully help you diagnose whatever issue you have with your specific engine. Note, not discussed in this video is the possibility of a failed MAP Sensor. That could potentially trigger an underboost code, but isn’t as common as the issues I described.
